Also called ‘Lily of the Valley’, Convallaria majalis presents arching racemens of dainty, bell-shaped flowers that release a beautifully sweet scent. It is hence understandable why this perennial is popular in perfumery, so it will certainly make a fitting addition to a sensory garden. The petals of each nodding bloom flair outwards, forming pretty definition, while the foliage of this plant is off a graceful, muted green colour.
