Also known as the ‘Balloon Flower’ this eye-catching perennial will develop stellate-shaped blooms that boast a vibrant purple shade with blue undertones. Formally referred to as ‘Grandiflora Blue’, this herbaceous perennial will look beautiful amongst flower borders and beds, or within a cottage garden.

On each stalk will rest oval leaves in a medium green colour, which adorn the soft-purple shades of the flowers. This perennial is therefore ideal for establishing a blue and purple theme within your mid-Summer garden.
